Big Bear Family Cabin is a spacious 6 bedroom, 3 bathroom house on Little Martha Lake, a private lake 2 miles East of Mercer WI, and about 35 minutes north of Minocqua Wisconsin. There is over 3500 sq. feet of living space for your family or several families vacationing fun. The living room has an enormous field/lake stone fireplace that is approximately 20 feet tall. The living room also has a cathedral ceiling and the wall facing the lake is mostly windows. Eagles, loons and other north woods birds live and nest right outside the house which provides entertainment right from the living room windows. Many tall birch and pines overhang the deck which faces southwest and the lake so you can watch your kids or the loons swim and fish.

Little Martha Lake is a private lake with no public access. This year round retreat offers almost 300 feet of shoreline that faces south-west. Enjoy the beautiful sunsets from a large deck overlooking the lake. The area is heavily wooded with a  north woods canopy of tall white pines, birch, maple and other north woods trees that make a picture perfect background as the sun sets over the lake.

Description of the house:

- Cedar and knotty pine walls throughout the entire house.
- 6 bedrooms, 3 full bathrooms. All beds and linens purchased new in 2006.
- Large living room with a cathedral ceiling and an enormous floor to ceiling fireplace.
- Dining room with space for 12-14 people,  perched overlooking the lake.
- New Air Conditioning and Furnace in 2007
- Fully equipped kitchen with NEW appliances: microwave, stove, oven, dishes
  and dishwasher,  coffee maker, cooking and eating equipment and utensils etc.
- Very large recreation room (33’ x 16’) with a NEW pool table, air hockey table, 
   basket ball game, and satellite TV's(2) with VCR & DVD. There is also a second field stone fireplace in
   this room. Kids also have lots of area outside on the 3+ acre mostly wooded site.
- New flooring in all bedrooms, dining room, and living rooms.
- Master bedroom has large windows overlooking the lake.
- Bedrooms and house overlook lake and woods not cabin after cabin.
- Lake rules prohibit outboard motors so it is quiet and safe for kids to swim.
- Private lake with no public access
- Private pier to fish or swim from. (more than 300 feet to the only other pier on this side of lake)
- Excellent musky, bass, and pan fishing along with good walleye fishing.
- 17 foot canoe and newer 16 foot Bass Tracker fishing boat with electric motor & depth finder at
   no extra charge. (paddles and some life preservers)
- Less than 15 minutes to Lake Lac du Flambeau’s 17,000 acres of water, yet the
   privacy of  a private lake fished only by a few neighbors.
- 1-2 miles from 6-7 public lakes, for water skiing, jet ski’s and even more fishing.
- Hundreds of lakes, and  thousands and thousands of acres of public land to explore.
